This Privacy Policy explains what information Youre LLC ("Youre", "we") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Youre, you agree to this policy.
Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address, a password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text), and a username. You may also provide a display name, bio, and profile picture.
Content you create. Planner items, projects, journal entries, stories, and other content you voluntarily add to the Service.
Usage data. IP address, device type, browser or app version, timestamps, and pages or features you interact with. We use this to operate the Service, prevent abuse, and improve functionality.
Approximate location. We derive your country from your IP address when you sign up, to personalize the experience and understand where our community is. We do not collect precise GPS location.
We use the information we collect to: (a) provide and maintain the Service; (b) personalize your experience; (c) send notifications and emails you have opted into; (d) process payments for paid plans; (e) detect and prevent fraud or abuse; (f) improve the Service.
We use trusted third-party providers to operate the Service. Each receives only the data needed for the stated purpose:
We do not sell your personal information to anyone. On request we can provide the list of current service providers.
Youre is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you acknowledge that your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. We take appropriate measures to protect your information during transfer.
You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time through Settings in the app or by emailing hi@youre.as.
EEA / UK residents (GDPR). You additionally have the right to object to processing, restrict processing, data portability, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA). You have the right to know what personal information we collect, to delete it, and to opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal information.
Korean residents. You have the right to request access, correction, deletion, and to withdraw consent under the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
Active accounts. We retain your information for as long as your account is active.
Deleted accounts. When you delete your account, it is placed in a recoverable state so you can change your mind. You can request immediate permanent deletion by emailing hi@youre.as.
Legal and security records. We may retain certain records (billing history, security/audit logs) for the period required by law, typically up to 7 years, to comply with tax, accounting, and fraud prevention obligations.
We use TLS encryption for all data in transit, salted password hashing, rate-limited authentication, and session tokens with secure, HTTP-only cookies. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized operators. No system is 100% secure, but we work to follow current best practices.
We use only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please email hi@youre.as and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version here and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email.
